Getting to us

17205 Vashon Hwy SW #B-1-E
Vashon Island, WA 98070

Vashon Island—located in Central Puget Sound—is only accessible by ferry. We encourage clients to make the boat ride part of the adventure, rather than an obstacle. Ferries have a way of allowing time for the day to soften a little. They create a pause between where you were and where you're going—a short stretch of water that helps you slow down, look around, and arrive a little more relaxed than when you left.

WSDOT ferries transport vehicles, foot passengers, motorcycles, and bicycles. Below are the ferry options that will get you to us, accompanied by the trip length:

Fauntleroy (West Seattle) — Vashon: 20 minutes

Point Defiance (Tacoma) — Tahlequah: 15 minutes

Southworth (Port Orchard) — Vashon: 10 minutes

King County also runs a water taxi out of the downtown Seattle ferry terminal. This boat only transports foot passengers and bicycles. Trip length is approximately 22 minutes. Be sure to check the times for the water taxi! They don’t run every day, and their last trip of the day is often pretty early.

The free FerryFriend app and WSDOT app make ferry riding especially easy with real-time schedule, dock cameras, boat tracking, and online ticket purchases.

no car? no problem

WSDOT runs a bus from each ferry terminal to several spots around the island. The best part is, there is a bus stop within a 30 second walk from our shop AND many food/coffee options are only a few minutes walk away.

vashon village

We are located in a retail plaza called Vashon Village, right off of the main road. Here’s a map of parking and how to find us within the plaza. We have a decent-sized parking lot, as well as lots of free street parking. We do also have two nearby bicycle racks.
